Missions at Crossroads

We are committed to transforming the Triangle and the world! This means using our gifts, abilities, and resources to help people connect to God.

Mission Trips

Crossroads is committed to the Great Commission as commanded in Matthew 28:18-20. Jesus calls us to go to all people and make disciples. As people from around the world come to the Triangle area, we’re reminded that the mission field is both local and global, and we’re intentional about engaging in both.

At Crossroads, we encourage everyone to prayerfully consider going on a mission trip, whether nearby or abroad. Concerns like fundraising, safety, or time away are real—but they aren’t roadblocks when God is involved.

See our Partnerships & Initiatives below for ways to serve your neighbor locally. And if a global call is on your heart, we invite you to consider one of our upcoming mission trips listed below. God can use you to meet both the tangible and spiritual needs of others—wherever you’re sent.

Contact Missions Pastor John Frye IV for more information on mission trips and guidance on which opportunity is right for you.

Our Missionaries

Crossroads is committed to reaching the world with the love and good news of Jesus Christ. Part of how we carry this out is by prayerfully and financially supporting missionaries around the globe, and one meaningful way you can be involved is by "adopting" a missionary supported by Crossroads.

Each of our missionaries is responsible for raising their own salary and ministry budget. They often partner with a missions agency that helps facilitate donations. However, missionaries rarely receive full funding from a single source—so your support, no matter the size, plays a vital role. Whether through consistent prayer or financial giving, your partnership helps make their work possible.

Take a moment to read through the bios of our missionaries by clicking the photos below. As God leads, consider committing to support one or more of them prayerfully and financially. Contact Missions Pastor John Frye IV for further information about our missionaries—or to set up a missionary visit with your group, class, or team.

Our Partnerships & Initiatives

One final way Crossroads lives out the Great Commission is by partnering with various local and global ministries uniquely positioned to reach people for Christ. While we can do much as a church, we believe in working with our brothers and sisters beyond Crossroads to play our part in the larger body of Christ. Below, you’ll find some of the local and global partners we work with—each offering meaningful ways for you to get involved and share God’s light and love with others.

Missions Week Special Event!

Women of Hope Guatemala Open House

Join us on October 25 from 10am-2pm to shop this special exhibition! We are partnering with Women of Hope Guatemala, an organization that empowers impoverished artisans with the steady employment they need to provide for their families, to sell their beautiful, hand-crafted ornaments and jewelry. All proceeds will go toward supporting these artisans.

Swing by the Millbrook Campus to visit Tina Osuna and shop for some gifts that support the work in Guatemala. This exhibition will take place in Rm 751; we ask that you enter through the Missions Thrift Store.
The Missions Thrift Store provides new and gently used goods and clothing at an affordable price. Proceeds from the store go toward local and global missions outreach—including our community partners, local schools, mission trip teams, and one specific ministry partner, Deaf Opportunity OutReach (DOOR).

Donate, shop, or volunteer to impact our community and the world!
Unto, one of our global missions partners, is on mission to express the kindness of Jesus to people living in the toughest places on earth. Crossroads has taken part in several of their initiatives, most recently the LuoPad Project. To learn more about the critical work they do, use the button below.

Community Partner Guide

At Crossroads, we believe that “loving your zip code” means more than just living in it—it takes investing, too. We’ve built relationships with several nonprofits in the area that are making an impact where we all live, work, learn, worship, and even leisure. Through this resource, we want to empower you to take the next step by connecting directly with these organizations and discovering where your passion meets a need.

Explore these nonprofits and their missions through our Community Partner Guide below. There are so many tangible ways to bring hope and healing to people in your own background.

HOPE Ministries

Pathway of HOPE equips families to break the cycle of crisis and poverty by overcoming unemployment, unstable housing, hunger, and lack of education. The Pathway was developed to guide families toward greater economic and financial security, hope and spiritual growth, and ultimately self-sufficiency.

Through long-term relationships, case managers help individuals and families access community resources, shape new behaviors, and overcome unhealthy patterns developed over generations. They walk individuals and families through the process to self-sufficiency—addressing current needs, planning proactively for the future, and celebrating the milestones achieved along the way.
